Saban updates Ingram's status for Penn State

Asked about Mark Ingram’s knee on this morning’s SEC coaches teleconference, Nick Saban offered a little more insight into his status for the Penn State game.

“Mark is improving every day. He did dry-land running yesterday and we will continue to progress him day to day. He hasn’t had any swelling or any problems so if he can continue to progress … I would say he was probably not going to be ready to play this week. He might be ready by the game, but he won’t be able to practice enough to be ready.

“But I think after that, we have a chance to get him back if he continues to progress.”

In that spirit, weigh in on the new poll question.

And one final note, if you picked up this morning’s USA Today, you might notice a familiar photo on the cover of the sports page. That’s Decatur Daily photographer Gary Cosby’s picture of Julio Jones’ one handed catch against San Jose State.
