It’s been four days since Alabama freshman running back Brent Calloway was arrested for possession of marijuana early Friday morning in Tuscaloosa.
Not much has been said since. The school released a statement saying Nick Saban was aware of the situation and punishment would be handled internally. Calloway hasn’t played all season and he didn’t dress Saturday for the Tennessee game.
By Monday afternoon, Calloway posted the following on his Twitter page:

Calloway knows its wrong, he got caught. Alabama does not “potheads”. Sent him to Auburn where he was going to go first, or maybe even LSU to join the other smokers.
Did you get high on the day you pick to go to bama? You got high and forgot who you changed to
dumbass, plain and simple.
Brent You are a very young man, who has made a very bad mistake. But you can make up for that by NEVER getting in positions where these things can happen. Dude is 19 years old….and has the world that is Alabama football in the palm of his hands….Yes as adults we can sit and jusge and say how stupid he is….I would like to take a poll of all adults who went to college and NEVER smoked pot…Brent, I don’t think you are the minority. He is just uner a different caliber microscope.
