Remain calm. All is well.
The injury that once appeared pretty bad turns out to be (only) a sprained ankle for Alabama basketball player Tony Mitchell.
After leaving midway through the first half in pain, the junior leading scorer was cutting up on the bench upon returning to the bench.
And No. 13 Alabama beat Alabama A&M 82-45, by the way.
“When it happened I’m sure it was painful, but I think our medical staff will do a great job making sure he’s healthy,” coach Anthony Grant said.

Alabama (6-0) also played without JaMychal Green who Grant said was held out with a hip pointer. It occurred in Sunday’s win over Purdue and Green could have played in necessity called for it.
“We don’t think it’s anything that will be lingering, but we felt like it was best to hold him tonight,” Grant said.
