Update 9:08 a.m.: Kentucky made it official. Justin Taylor’s letter of intent arrived in Lexington.

Subtract one name from the list of 27 commitments Alabama carried into signing day.
Running back Justin Taylor reportedly signed with Kentucky this morning. Taylor was the player involved with the grayshirt controversy a few weeks ago.
He was reportedly told he couldn’t sign with the Tide until next January.
The move was identical to one made last February. Gadsden City product Daryl Collins had an offer to grayshirt at Alabama, but chose to sign with Kentucky instead.
His subtraction plus Korren Kirven still leaves Alabama with 27 commitments and 25 spots. There are 11 faxes in at 7:47 a.m.
