Cleveland Browns linebacker Scott Fujita tries to bring down Trent Richardson on Sunday.
Did you expect anything else?
Former Alabama running back Trent Richardson showed a Cleveland Browns record training camp crowd of 4,200 Sunday why the team spent the No. 3 pick of the draft on him.
It was the Browns’ first day in full pads, and Richardson shined.
According to a Cleveland Plain Dealer report, Richardson had several nice runs, including one after catching a screen pass from quarterback Brandon Weeden.
“Oh, yeah, I really get to do what I do best (in pads),” he was quoted as saying by The Plain Dealer. “I get to bounce off guys, get to try to run guys over, break tackles or whatever. I think when I get in full pads, it’s a whole ‘nother me. Not to be cocky or nothing, that’s just my confidence in my game, and that’s just what I’m blessed with.”
