Football recruit Reuben Foster and his mother are talking with either NCAA of Alabama High School Athletic Association investigators, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Foster changed high schools in April from Troup High in Georgia to Auburn High, and in June, he also has switched commitments from Alabama to Auburn. Foster is considered a five-star prospect and is rated as one of the country’s top linebackers.
“They [the NCAA] are talking with Reuben and me,” Foster’s mother, Anita Paige, told the AJC. “They want to make sure there was nothing illegal done to get us down here, or anything like that. They want to make sure there wasn’t a college booster involved.
“No, there was not a booster involved or anybody from the college involved. There was nothing illegal.”
Following published reports that Paige spoke with the AHSAA rather than the NCAA, the AJC reached her again tonight. She refused to clarify who she spoke with.
