The Dawg Pound Daily is a Cleveland Browns fan blog, and one writer for the website is worried about Trent Richardson.
Remember all the amazing things Richardson did at Alabama? And remember how we sometimes would think that he was too good to be true?
Well, the Dawg Pound author feels the same way and wonders if Richardson really is too good to be true and won’t recover from his minor knee surgery, even though it isn’t expected to keep him out of the regular-season opener.
Sure, he’s being a Debbie Downer, but considering Cleveland’s luck with star players and trying to win championships, can you blame him? The last time a Cleveland professional sports team won a championship was 1964 when Jim Brown led the Browns to the NFL championship. That was so long ago, it was before the Super Bowl. It was the same year Joe Namath was quarterbacking Alabama to Bear Bryant’s second national title.
Anyway, click on the link. (Here is is again: Trent Richardson.) And hope that the guy isn’t right about the former Crimson Tide star.
