Alabama’s two-time defending NCAA champion gymnastics team will appear on television seven times this season.
Unfortunately, it’s all tape-delay, but it’s still television, which was an awfully far-fetched idea when Tide coaches Sarah and David Patterson began producing regular top-five national finishes in the 1980s.
“We have an extremely competitive schedule and I’m very excited that because of the Southeastern Conference’s television contract, fans across the country and around the world will be able to tune in to see our ladies compete,” Sarah Patterson said in a release.
