It wasn’t much, but New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram put together his most productive game of the year in Monday night’s 28-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
The former Alabama standout rushed for 44 yards on seven carries and caught two passes for 23 yards. The combined 67 yards are a season high. He had 53 against the Carolina Panthers in the second game of the year — all rushing.
Against Philadelphia, Ingram had a 23-yard run and a 16-yard pass reception. Safety Roman Harper, also a former Alabama standout, contributed six tackles for New Orleans.
For Philadelphia, middle linebacker DeMeco Ryans had six tackles, including Ingram twice. Ryans also played at Alabama.
