Former Alabama signee Brandon Hill has committed to Ole Miss, according to Scout.com and Rivals.com.
Hill, a 6-foot-6 and 352-pound offensive lineman, signed with the Crimson Tide in February but did not quality academically. He spent the fall at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., and announced Tuesday he had qualified. He began a recruiting trip to Ole Miss on Thursday and committed today.
Although only a three-star prospect out of high school, he was expected to help Alabama.
Hill played at St. George’s High in Collierville, Tenn., helping his team to the Tennessee Division II-A state title after losing in the championship game a year earlier.
