In the Miss America pagent Saturday night, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron got a brief mention. Miss South Carolina, Ali Rogers, was asked about Brent Musburger‘s comments about McCarron’s girlfriend, Katherine Webb, at the BCS National Championship Game.
Rogers finished first runner-up to Miss New York, Mallory Hagan, an Opelika native who attended Auburn University.
