We’ve heard plenty about Alabama running back commitment Derrick Henry, but the Crimson Tide appears to be getting another good one in the Class of 2013 in Tyren Jones of Walton High in Marietta, Ga..
We’ve got video of his big night in a 35-24 win over Brookwood in the 2012 Metro PCS Corky Kell Classic at the Georgia Dome.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jones ran 26 times for 254 yards. He scored five touchdowns on runs of 71, 1, 48, 6 and 52 yards. GPB.org had Jones with 302 yards on 31 carries. At least, they both had him with five touchdowns.
Here’s video of Jones’ big night. It’s about four minutes long and gives you a great look at Jones’ best runs. He’s wearing No. 1, but you would’ve figured that out pretty quickly on your own.
