A possible prospect for Anthony Grant to see

PRICEVILLE, Alabama — Certainly, Alabama basketball coach Anthony Grant knows much more about who he should recruit than I do. But if I may, perhaps he should take another look at West Morgan High senior guard Brandon Roberts.

Roberts stands only 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, but he scores more than 33 points a game and is drawing more and more interest from mid- to high-level schools. He transferred to West Morgan from Austin, and this is his first season with the Rebels.

Roberts attended Alabama’s 59-55 win over Kentucky on Tuesday and had a posted a photo from his front-row seat on Twitter.

We have a couple of videos from his game tonight in the Morgan County tournament semifinals. West Morgan beat Hartselle 65-58 as Roberts had 38 points. He sank three 3-pointers and made 13 of 15 foul shots.

The first video includes a three-point play, while the second includes him scoring the final points and then coming out of the game.
