Former Alabama standout Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons will start in the Pro Bowl today.
Jones orginally was selected to the NFC squad as a reserve. However, starting wide receivers Calvin Johnson of Detroit and Brandon Marshall of Chicago have pulled out, which has pushed Jones and the New York Giants’ Victor Cruz into the startine lineup.
NBC will televise the game from Hawaii at 6 p.m. Central time.
Jones caught 79 passes this year for 1,198 yards and 10 touchdowns. In two playoff games, he caught 17 passes for 241 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
