Alabama lists North Little Rock (Ark.) High running back Altee Tenpenny and California long-snapper Cole Mazza as its 18th and 19th signees for its 2013 class.
Tenpenny rushed for 1,379 yards on 193 carries with 21 touchdowns. At 6-foot-0, 212 pounds, he is built a little like Eddie Lacy, the former All-SEC running back.
Tenpenny is accustomed to Alabama’s style of sharing carries among two running backs. Tenpenny shared rushing attempts at North Little Rock with Juan Day, a junior who has committed to Arkansas.
Mazza is from Liberty High in Bakersfield, Calif., who can replace long-snapper Carson Tinker, a three-year starter who has graduated.
Mazza generally is regarded as the nation’s top long-snapper.
