Alabama starting free safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix finished the season with a minor knee injury and had surgery last week.
He’s expected to begin Sugar Bowl practice next week, coach Nick Saban said, and be available for the Jan. 2 game.
“Ha Ha will be fine,” Saban said. “He had a scope. In two weeks he’ll be ready to practice again. It will be two weeks from surgery when we start up practice. We are not going to rush him back, but he’ll be fine.”
