Alabama tight end Michael Williams
caught two passes for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Senior Bowl on Saturday.
In the South’s 21-16 win, Williams latched onto a 20-yard scoring throw from game MVP EJ Manuel of Florida State. The touchdown gave the South a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.
Linebacker Nico Johnson had four tackles, while safety Robert Lester had one. Long-snapper Carson Tinker also participated in the game.
South Alabama defensive back B.J. Scott, a transfer from Alabama, had three tackles.

The University of South Alabama officially announced former Crimson Tide defensive back B.J. Scott was now a part of its program.
It marks the end of Scott’s run with Alabama that started with so much promise before a position change and injuries kept the success from coming. Rivals.com rated him a five-star recruit coming out of Mobile.
He played in six games this season and missed the final four because of injury.
That followed a switch to defensive back from wide receiver that meant redshirting the 2009 season.
