Trent Richardson, touchdown guy (video)

Even after preseason knee surgery and playing with not a ton of talent around him, Trent Richardson has shined in one category for the woeful Cleveland Browns — touchdowns.

The former Alabama star has scored four of them through four games, and only one other NFL player has more. Houston’s Arian Foster has scored five touchdowns.

In rushing yards, Richardson has 222 on 64 carries. He also has 15 receptions for 122 yards.

Of course, Richardson scored plenty at Alabama. He had 24 touchdowns last season, which tied former Crimson Tide running back Shaun Alexander’s 1999 total for the SEC record.

For fun, here are Richardson’s four touchdowns this year. There’s a
32-yard run against the Bengals, a 23-yard pass reception against the Bengals, a 6-yard run against the Bills and a 1-yard run against the Ravens, in order:
