The University of Alabama has announced classes are canceled and school operations are suspended as of 3:15 p.m. today.

They will resume at 10 a.m. Friday. About one to four inches of snow is expected to accumulate in Tuscaloosa today.

The University of Alabama campus is getting some snow.

As you can see from the photo to the right, Daily Bama Blog contributor Brett Hudson is planning on nailing somebody with a snow ball. Please don’t hurt anybody, Brett.

According to weather.com, the snow will remain steady until about 2 p.m. when it changes to rain, with an accumulation of about half an inch. The National Weather Service office in Birmingham is prediction total snow accumulation of one to four inches.
